Air Fryer Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs
For crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside meatballs
- 0.5 kgs ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 300 grams fresh mozzarella, cut into 16 cubes
- Marinara, for serving
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of meat and flatten into a patty in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and pinch meat up around cheese and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining meat to make 16 total meatballs.
Working in batches as needed, place meatballs in basket of air fryer and cook at 370° for 12 minutes.
Serve with warmed marinara.
